Where we do it

Our company’s offices and playground are on the beautiful Solent, a sheltered stretch of water between the south coast of England and the stunning Isle of Wight, our days with our guests are spent exploring this unique sailing ground enjoying the amazing conditions it provides

On board our fleet of luxury sailing yachts and performance powerboats, we explore this superb playground, visiting sheltered anchorages, exploring the many creeks and Rivers jotted around the shore line and of course visiting the many picturesque harbours that the Solent has to offer.

To Start…

Our events start from where ever suits your over night accommodation, or where ever is easiest for your transport requirements.

Example start points and venues would be.

Your Own Private Yacht or Powerboat.

It goes with out saying that if you have chartered a stunning boat for the day, then why not use it, we can provide Champagne receptions on board at a location to suite you.

 Shore side venues include…

The Royal Southern Yacht Club

With out doubt one of the finest yacht clubs on the south coast with some of the best views, we would book out the upper bar for you with breathtaking views out over the Hamble River, the Solent and the Isle of Wight beyond.

Gunwharf Quays – Portsmouth

This is a great location for a starting  point for your day on the water, a simple 10 minute walk from a fast train from Waterloo (1 hr 15) and you are on your boat, you can either have breakfast on board or you can have it in one of the may bars or restaurants in the complex.  We have even had breakfast at the top of the 180 m spinnaker tower before boarding the boats.

We also have a whole host of amazing locations, on the waters edge in some great marina’s.

The Boat House, Swanwick Marina.

Banana Wharf – Port Hamble Marine, Hamble Village

The Haven – Lymington yacht Haven

Lunch time venues

Some guests like to stay on the boat, some like to get off and look around, stretch theirs legs and explore, we can provide buffet lunches on board, ranging from a light ‘racing lunch’, all the way through to a full three course buffet with aged meats and seafood platters.

Marine Events holds a full alcohol licence for all their boats, so Champagne, wine, Jugs of Pimms and beer can also be provided to accompany the lunch

Lunch on board your yacht in Newtown Creek

Going ashore for lunch is also a popular option with stunning venues such as.

The George Hotel or the Famous ‘Salty’s in Yarmouth

Both these superb venues are located in the beautiful fishing village of Yarmouth, a sheltered harbour and only a 2 minute walk to either restaurant.  Both provide very different settings and menu’s depending on your group, both would be recommended

Cowes on the Isle of Wight

This superb town, the home of British yachting, provides Yachts Clubs, stunning seafood restaurants and of course pubs.  A great location and easy to get to no matter what the weather.

Seaview Yacht Club – Isle of Wight

Slowly becoming a favorite with our larger groups, this amazing club is right on the waters edge, over looking the Solent, the Historic Forts and Portsmouth Harbour, hire the entire upper floor for your guests and have a private bar, private dining and a view to die for!

The Beaulieau River – Master Builders House Hotel

If its natural beauty you are looking for (the New Forest) or an ancient village steeped in Martime history. then look no further than Bucklers Hard.

This is the site where Nelsons ships were built, all from New Forest Oak, right next to your mooring.  Walk 50 paces and you will be in the stunning Master Builders House Hotel, a fine dining restaurant or a more relaxed pub next door.

  • Other great locations include
  • Gunwharf Quays – Portsmouth
  • The Hut – Colwell Bay
  • Seaview Hotel – Seaview

Afternoon Clotted Cream Tea’s

There is only one place to have this (in our opinion) and that is on your own private yacht or powerboat as you cruise back up the river or harbour to your base.  Fresh scones, clotted cream and some fresh strawberries, add a cup of tea or a glass of Champagne and it is a relaxing way to end the day.
