Listed below are just a selection of some of the venues that we use for morning reception, afternoon tea and lunch.
Breakfast and Afternoon Tea
The Royal Southern Yacht Club
Situated on the banks of the River Hamble, this beautiful club boasts some of the best facilities of any yacht club on the South coast.
The bar and reception area overlooking the river are spacious enough to accommodate any size of group, from 6 – 200, for your morning breakfast or afternoon tea. The bar can also be open on request.
There are conference facilities for up to 250 in theatre style, for those of you that need to mix in a little business.
Also, a private banqueting room, “The Yeoman room”, will cater for up to 20 of your guests for a board meeting or a private meal.
The Yachts are located on the pontoon outside the club for easy access when it is time to embark.

The Hotel has a pontoon on the River where your boats for the day will be waiting.
The George Hotel (Yarmouth)
The George Hotel, a 17th century town house in the heart of the bustling village and harbour of Yarmouth, is generally considered to be one of the finest hotels on the island.
With its restaurant and waterside gardens providing unrivalled views of the Solent, this unique venue really provides an atmosphere second to none.
The food (Michelin *), fine wines and unhurried but attentive service are the reason Marine Events continue to use this popular venue.
(Also because they provided our guests with a television when England were playing in the World Cup!!)
The Folly Inn
Situated on the banks of the Medina River in the heart of the Isle of Wight.
This fantastic location offers a more relaxed option if dining ashore is what you have chosen.
Great pub food, fresh fish of the day, and a view over the Medina River leaves many people not wanting to leave.
A two course meal, all wine, beer and soft drinks are included in the Marine Events standard package.
Once again, the yachts or powerboats will be moored on the private pontoon outside the Pub for easy access.
Marine Events are linked with various hotels in the Hamble and Meon Valley area. Also unique venues such as:
- HMS Warrior 1860
